History

In 1948, San Antonio and the surrounding area looked dramatically different then it does today. When Nile Wright first started his company Peerless in 1948, their primarily agricultural business reflected the economy at the time. Much of San Antonio was still used for farming and ranching. During the next 20 years, the company expanded into building small agricultural structures for their client base. As the rural lifestyle and landscape gave way to the urban, concrete world another expansion was needed and gave birth to Peco Construction.

Today, Peco Construction has come into the hands of Tom Wright, the son of the founder, Nile Wright. Tom has been at the helm now for over 30 years and has a remarkable portfolio of projects. After graduating from Texas A&I, Tom joined the construction side of the company that his father had started. Working with his father's guidance, Tom quickly learned the business, taking over just a few years later.

For over 40 years, we have taken the necessary steps to ensure the integrity and success of every building we have constructed. We have found that this adaptability and sensitivity to the client's needs, is the best way to operate. That is why, though every project is different, our approach to every one is the same; employ our skills, experience and knowledge accordingly, then provide the best possible quality at the best possible price.
